The Oklahoma Highway Patrol arrested a man on Wednesday in connection with a traffic accident that left an Oklahoma woman in serious condition. 32-year-old Dalon Ray Pointer is also a suspect in the robbery of the Fort Sill National Bank in Wichita Falls.

A man walked into the bank at 10 am Monday and handed a hold up note to the teller. After taking an undisclosed sum of money he fled on foot. A warrant was issued for Pointer out of Wichita County in connection with the bank robbery. Bond on that warrant was set at $350,000.

Pointer was also wanted in connection with an accident near Lawton last weekend that left Angel Salazar in serious condition at OU Medical Center. The two had left The Zoo, a popular Lawton bar, last Saturday around 2 am. Pointer lost control of his pickup and struck a tree. He fled the scene of the accident on foot but left Salazar trapped in the vehicle.  She was able to crawl to the side of the road and summon help. Pointer faced numerous charges in Carter County, OK in 2012 for assault, leaving the scene of accident and public intoxication.

According to KSWO TV in Lawton, Angel Salazar is recovering from the fractures in her neck and back as well as internal injuries.Friends of the Salazar family have set up a GoFundMe account to help pay for medical expenses.
