One Week to the First Dallas Cowboys Regular Season Game

Tonight the Cowboys will be ending the preseason against the Miami Dolphins. Starters are not expected to play much tonight, but it is hard not to look to next week's game against the Super Bowl champions, the New York Giants.The Cowboys were disappointed with how their season ended last year in New York when their playoff chances where crushed by the eventual Super Bowl champs. The Cowboys would love nothing more than to open the season with a win against the team that knocked them out of the playoffs. This season will not be easy this year with the Giants, Eagles, and Redskins in the division.

Philadelphia is looking to rebound after a dismal season spending so much money in the off season in free agency. The Redskins are looking to be much improved with a Heisman trophy winner at quarterback. I try not to put to much into preseason, but Robert Griffin III has looked very good. Finally, the Giant are the champs and they are not going to go down easy.

Hopefully this season the Cowboys make the playoffs and have a good run at the postseason.
