Peyton Manning Arrested In Nashville Drug Bust [VIDEO]

What officers thought was a routine traffic stop in Nashville on Sunday night had much different results.

WKRN reports that they pulled the car over for having their high beams on but smelled marijuanna when they approached the car. The driver of the car, Peyton Manning, ended up under arrest.

Now, sports fan, don't get a head of yourself too quickly. This Peyton Manning isn't the quarterback for the Denver Broncos. This one is an 18-year-old girl.

The female Peyton Manning consented to have her car searched. It was then that police found "44 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, and a pill crusher" plus "two plastic baggies with a white powdery substance...found floating in a cup of Coca-Cola sitting in the console. The substance field tested positive for cocaine."

Manning and her passenger were both booked into jail, with her bond set at $20,000. No official statement has been released from Peyton Manning, the quarterback, nor do we expect one.

In the meantime, remember this lesson: There's a lot more to a story than just a headline.
