Pint-sized singer/songwriter extraordinaire Prince first hit it big in the '70s and '80s -- and he's perfectly happy that his technological savvy hasn't changed a bit since then. In fact, he doesn't even own a cell phone.

In an interview with V Magazine, the icon was asked whether he owned an iPhone (because they had nothing else of relevance to ask him?) and he scoffed, "Are you serious? Hell, no."

He then proceeded to use a feminine, high-pitched voice to mockingly yell, "Where is my phone? Can you call my phone? Oh, I can’t find it."

(It's like he has cameras in our apartments or something.)

While we're not that surprised -- this is, after all, the same guy who declared the internet dead a few years ago -- we're a little bummed that Prince doesn't own a purple bejeweled phone with a 'Darling Nikki' ringtone.

But apparently that would be a waste, because he doesn't really need to talk to anyone anyway.

"This organization is different than most, in the sense that we don’t take directions from the outside world," Prince said about his team. "It’s like a galaxy. The sun is in the center giving off energy, and everything revolves around it … Nobody really talks to me. Nobody talks to me a lot."

That's where Prince's assistant Ramadan (no, really) comes in. "I talk to her. She talks to you. She talks to Richard. And so on and so forth. If I trust her, then you can trust her."

Prince, who was rocking an afro and retro clothes, then hopped on his dinosaur and rode off into the sunset.
