Psycho Shanon from Kidd Kraddick in the Morning Has a Brain Tumor

More tough news for the Kidd Kraddick in the Morning show came this morning (10/28) when producer and co-host Psycho Shanon made a shocking announcement that she has a brain tumor.

Shanon told listeners that a couple weeks ago she woke up with some swelling on the left side of her face, numbness on the left side of her body, and was unable to keep any food down. After getting an MRI done, Shanon's doctor called her and told her that there is a mass on her brain that should not be there.

Shanon got the life-changing call on Wednesday (Oct 23) - which happened to be Kidd's Kids Day.

Shanon has been told that the only way to get rid of the brain tumor is to have it surgically removed. Doctors believe the tumor is benign and that she should have a full recovery if the operation goes well.

Originally the surgery was going to take place on Wednesday of this week, but Shanon has too much swelling in her brain at the moment. She plans to have the surgery after the annual Kidd's Kids trip in November.

Shanon said on the show Monday morning that she is terrified about having the surgery and wanted to make her medical situation public to ask for prayers. "If you need something to pray about tonight, just throw a little bit of Shanon in there. I would really appreciate it," Shannon said.

Kellie Rasberry said, "We really are like a family. With the passing of Kidd it's even become more evident that we really are a family. And when you are going through a crisis situation, you go to your family."
