Reality TV Star Tila Tequila Attempts Suicide, Suffers Brain Aneurysm

News is just now being released that reality television star Tila Tequila has been hospitalized a near-fatal brain aneurysm following a failed suicide attempt last week.  The Los Angeles Fire Department was dispatched to Tila's home at 1:30 a.m. on February 29th after her roommate found her slipping in and out of consciousness and called 911.  A source claims that Tila roommate told police that she had ingested two bottles of pills and that she'd been trying to kill herself all week.  Though the LAFD declined to reveal details of the incident, Tila's manager confirmed that she had been taken to the hospital for the rumored reasons, that she was recovering, and currently in a wheelchair due to being weak.  Tila's manager told E! News,

"Tila continues to recover and is doing better.  We ask that her privacy is respected during this difficult time."

No official word yet as to the exact reasons for the suicide attempt, or if the aneurysm was directly caused by the pill overdose.

Tila Tequila has been modeling since the age of 18, but is best known for her reality show "A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila" which aired for two seasons on MTV.  Unique to reality dating shows, the contestants on this show consisted of both men and women, revealing at the end of the first episode that Tila is bisexual (later admitting to being a lesbian after the show's run).  Since her reality show, Tila suffered a huge heartbreak when her fiance, Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson, died in 2010 from diabetic ketoacidosis.
