Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum return with a sequel to their surprise hit '21 Jump Street', and so far it unfortunately looks like a simple rehash of the first one.

Keep in mind, '22 Jump Street' isn't due out until the summer, so what we have here is a glorified teaser trailer that included footage from the first film to flush it out. Nevertheless, from what we've seen so far they are reusing the same tropes from the first film, with jokes about how they look too old to be there and the mission puts their partnership to the test.

The official plot synopsis, according to IGN, is,

After making their way through high school (twice), big changes are in store for officers Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) when they go deep undercover at a local college. But when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team, and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership. Now they don't have to just crack the case - they have to figure out if they can have a mature relationship. If these two overgrown adolescents can grow from freshmen into real men, college might be the best thing that ever happened to them.

Even though this looks like a rehash of the first film, I’m still interested in seeing it.  I was surprised with how much I enjoyed the first film, and there are enjoyable parts to this quick trailer.  The references like no one cared about a Jump Street reboot and the reason for the change in title were nice little jabs at itself, and the final scene in the prison was probably the best part of the film.
