Students from the Midwestern State University Mass Communications Department have organized a benefit concert in support of this years Relay for Life walk. The concert will take place at the Neon Spur in Wichita Falls on April 13th. The event is slated to offer a wide assortment of music. Local boys Dr.Phil Good and the Lets Get it Ons will headline with support from Shantell, To Make Amends, The CSO Band, TC Fambro and the Copperheads, and Francesco DjiSav Guarnieri. You can listen to all of these acts, and go to bed knowing that you've supported a great cause for just $7 if you purchase your ticket in advance, or $10 at the door. Find more details on the event Facebook page.

For complete details, check out my interview with Alexandra McClung of the MSU Mass Comm. Department:

I'm not sure if Alexandra would appreciate me telling you or not, but after we finished our interview about the concert we got to chatting. I can't help that sharing that Alexandra apparently used to be both Canadian and a pro tennis player here in the states. Who'd've thought?
