Last week while in the U.K., Adele appeared on "The Jonathan Ross Show" and added fuel to the rumors that she will be joining the likes of Paul McCartney, Chris Cornell and Tina Turner by recording the theme song for a James Bond film.  When asked what her next project will be, Adele said,

"I'm going back in the studio in November, fingers crossed,"

Ross then followed up by asking what she's be recording in the studio.  Adele replied,

"Well, this is actually a theme, what I've got to do. Wow, that's really giving something away!"

At this point, Ross began to hum the iconic James Bond theme, at which point Adele blushed and laughed, saying she was working on a concept piece.

The theme to the last James Bond film, "Quantum of Solace", was supposed to be sung by fellow Brit Amy Winehouse.  However, due to Winehouse's battles with drugs and alcohol, her song was cancelled and replaced with a duet by White Stripes frontman Jack White and Alicia Keys.
