I'm not the type to buy holiday gifts for my pets. They don't know what's going on, nor do they care, so I don't even think about it. I will buy them gifts at times throughout the year, however, but they don't really seem to care about those, either. If I bring home a paper bag from the grocery store, one of my cats will spend hours in there just hanging out. It's a much better gift than catnip for her. Some pets don't have someone to bring them home fun things, and that's where you come in.

The Humane Society shelters pets, gets them the care they need, gives them the love they’re craving, and does their best to place them in permanent homes. Whether you’re looking for an lazy dog who prefers a quiet walk to play, or a cat who chases toys, chances are the Humane Society will have your perfect match.

May I present our pets of the week. If you’d like to see them in person or get more information on these pets or any other pets that the Humane Society has, check them out online here or call 940-855-4941. They’re located at 4360 Old Iowa Park Road in Wichita Falls.

Selena

Selena is a medium sized, adult, female Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She's pretty shy right now, and could use a home that can show her lots of love. She's spayed, heartworm tested and on preventative, up-to-date on shots, and microchipped. Selena could really use your love and affection, so stop in to meet her and get a chance to know this little jewel.

Bubbles

Bubbles is a small, young, female short-haired kitty who was saved from the dumpster by her foster parent. She loves to play and snuggle, and she's used to having dogs around. She's heartworm tested and on preventative, up-to-date on shots, and microchipped. Bubbles had a rough start but she hasn't let it affect her, and she'd make a great addition to your home this holiday!
