On Saturday (June 8) someone had the 'huevos' to make many people's impossible dream a reality.

During the live finale of "Britain's Got Talent,"  Simon Cowell and the other judges were pelted with raw eggs by a woman on stage while they were watching a performance by two Welsh opera singers named Richard and Adam Johnson.

Appropriately, they were singing "The Impossible Dream."

Toward the end of the song, a woman playing with the backing orchestra rushed up to the front of the stage and started throwing eggs at Simon. It looks like she had an entire carton of eggs with her, and she managed to fire off about five of them down range before security rushed in to carry her away. Kudos to the performers though, because they managed to keep the performance going as if nothing had happened.

It's not certain, but It looks like Simon did get hit, because he takes off his jacket after the song is over.

The egg hurler turned out to be a 30-year-old woman named Natalie Holt.

Natalie was a contestant on the show last year, and didn't make it through the auditions. She seems to be holding quite the grudge. She also told a British newspaper, "I basically took a stand against people [lip-synching] on TV and against Simon and his dreadful influence on the music industry."

Later, Natalie did apologize - but not necessarily to Cowell - saying, "I want to apologize to Richard and Adam for overshadowing their performance.  I've never done anything like this before, and in hindsight I have realized it was a silly thing to do."

Simon Cowell took to Twitter tweeting, "I really don't like eggs . . . I don't think eggs should be allowed on talent shows.  Discuss?"  He then added, "Bloody hell!  Just watched the Adam and Richard performance back.  They didn't miss a note."

For what it's worth, the opera singers finished third during the finale.
