A small aircraft, described by a DPS official as 'some sort of experimental or kit style craft' crashed around 12 noon on Monday at Valley View Airport just west of Wichita Falls.  DPS on the scene say the pilot was practicing 'touch and go landings' when the craft suddenly lost power and was forced to crash land in a field near the runway just off Rifle Range Road.  The unidentified male pilot was the only one in the aircraft and walked away uninjured.  The plane suffered some minor structural damage and no other injuries or damage was reported.  The FAA will investigate based on information provided by the Department of Public Safety.
