Spirit and Chomper – Humane Society Pets of the Week!

Just like people, pets tend to have their favorite places. For my cat, it’s any laundry basket. Whether it’s a pile of clean clothes for a pile of dirty stuff, we can usually find her hanging out there. It’s not such a problem on the stuff that still needs to be washed, but finding cat hair on your freshly-washed black shirt isn’t necessarily fun. Regardless, she’s awesome, and we just pull out the lint roller. Not all cats have a favorite place in a forever home, and that’s where you come in.

The Humane Society shelters pets, gets them the care they need, gives them the love they’re craving, and does their best to place them in permanent homes. Whether you’re looking for a lazy dog who prefers a quiet walk to play, or a cat who chases toys, chances are the Humane Society will have your perfect match.

Spirit

Spirit is a small, female, Terrier/Pit Bull mix. At just under a year old, she’s got all the energy of a puppy and loves to explore new things. She warms up quickly to people and loves to play, but she also enjoys a nice long nap when the mood hits her. She’s spayed, up-to-date on shots, heartworm tested and on preventative, and microchipped. Spirit can’t wait to meet her new people and find her forever home. Swing by to introduce yourself!

Chomper

Chomper is a medium sized, male, Siamese mix. He’s four-years-old, meaning he has some experience under his belt, but he also loves to play and explore new things. He’s a bit shy at first but once he warms up he’ll be your best friend. He’s neutered, up-to-date on shots, heartworm tested and on preventative, and microchipped. Chomper would love to find his forever home, and now is the right time to stop by to meet him!
