Store Uses Surveillance Footage of Robbery in Ad [VIDEO]
A clothing store in Brazil saw not one but two robberies in December, and now the owner has decided to use the surveillance video in a commercial. Police haven’t found any robbery suspects at this point, so Rony Meisler got creative with the footage.
The text in the ad translates loosely to “It’s not necessary to break the window. Just come in! Inventory clearance: up to 40% off.” Meisler commented to reporters that, “They stole my clothes and we stole their image.”
Do you suppose any of the thieves will come forward to lodge a complaint about being in the ad?
