Last night’s fire at Taco Casa does not appear to be quite as bad as was originally thought.  According to store and fire officials, the fire started in the ceiling over the convenience store.  Both sides of the structure suffered smoke damage, with much of the fire damage restricted to the store side itself.  A spokesman for the restaurant said they wish to reassure their customers that they will reopen.  As of Friday morning, the repairs are expected to take about ten days to complete.
