Arnold Schwarzenegger went into the hospital for shoulder surgery recently, and he ended up in a bed next to Sylvester Stallone - who also just happened to be having shoulder surgery at the same time.
Maria Shriver decided to celebrate her independence from Arnold Schwarzenegger this weekend.
On Friday, Shriver filed for divorce from the former California governor after 25 years of marriage.
According to a report in the Los Angeles Times, former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger fathered a child over 10 years ago with a longtime member of his household staff.
Schwarzenegger told wife Maria Shriver about the child earlier this year, after which she moved out of their Brentwood mansion.
"After leaving the governor's office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago," Schwarzenegger said in a statement. "I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry."
Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife, journalist Maria Shriver, announced their separation Monday evening in a press statement. The statement makes no mention of divorce, but does confirm that the two are no longer living under the same roof:
After having just seen 'Conan the Barbian' (at Chaos & The Mom's suggestion), I'm SO excited to see more of Arnold, kickin' A and takin' names!! Former Governor Schwarzenegger is reportedly eyeing a major return to the big screen.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Governator is in talks to join 'The Last Stand,' in which he would play a bordertown sheriff who teams with his inexperienced staff to hunt down a Mexico-bound cartel leader.
The film is being directed by Jee-woon Kim ('The Good, The Bad, The Weird'), and is tentatively set to begin shooting in late August. Sources tell the Hollywood Reporter that negotiations are moving along, though the deal could still fall apart over money.
