Country darling Scotty McCreery may have logged a lot of time in LA during his run on ‘American Idol,’ but he still hasn’t been bitten by the acting bug.

The reigning ‘Idol’ champ told WSOC radio he didn’t know if he’d “pull a Tim McGraw,” referring to his one-time duet partner and star of movies like ‘The Blind Side’ and ‘Country Strong.’

Attention, Walmart shoppers: You can now relive your favorite musical moments from the most recent season of ‘American Idol’ with a series of exclusive EPs from the top four contestants.

Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, Haley Reinhart, and James Durbin have all released ‘American Idol Season 10 Highlights’ EPs, offering five tracks apiece for the low, low price of $5.

After a record-setting 122.4 million votes, it was country crooner Scotty McCreery who was named the winner of 'American Idol' season 10.

The 17-year-old from Garner, NC, beat out 16-year-old Lauren Alaina to become the youngest 'American Idol' winner ever. He's also the fourth-consecutive male to win the reality-competition series, following David Cook, Kris Allen and Lee DeWyze. (The last female to win 'American Idol' was Jordin Sparks, in 2007.)
