The former 'American Idol' judge, who is re-teaming with his fellow 'Idol' expat, Paula Abdul, promises an epic show, one that is open to "anyone who can sing."

Cowell told radio personality Jackie Brown that Carey won't be on the judges' panel, due to her pregnancy, but she'll still be part of the show in some capacity.
