The re-release of Titanic in 3D seemed to have a decent weekend at the box office, but a spoof trailer for the new movie seems to be taking off even quicker on YouTube.

In one corner, we have ‘Titanic,’ which just celebrated its 3D re-release this weekend. Not only did Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet’s performance as star-crossed lovers launch their careers, but it made ‘My Heart Will Go On’ Celine Dion’s biggest hit and Winslet’s least favorite song ever.
In the other, we have ‘The Notebook,’ another love story where a young working-class man, Ryan Gosling, falls in love with a woman of rich decent, Rachel McAdams. Add in disapproving parents, another suitor as competition, and an old couple reading this story as a framing device and you get one of the most celebrated romances in movie history.
Like many, you’re probably headed to the theater this weekend to relive the romance, action and weepy Celine Dion ballads in ‘Titanic 3D.’ The return of one of the biggest motion pictures of all time is also a chance to return to a simpler time. No, not 1912. We’re talking about 1997.

If the original 'Titanic' wasn't epic enough already, Paramount announced Thursday that it will re-release the Oscar-winning drama on April 6, 2012 ... in 3-D.
In a statement, the film's director, James Cameron, said, "There's a whole generation that's never seen 'Titanic' as it was meant to be seen, on the big screen. And this will be 'Titanic' as you've never seen it before, digitally re-mastered at 4K and painstakingly converted to 3D. With the emotional power intact and the images more powerful than ever, this will be an epic experience for fans and newcomers alike."
