Tara Reid Attempts to Talk About Shark Mating [VIDEO]

Tara Reid and Ian Ziering stopped by Shark After Dark on Tuesday, a show on the Discovery Channel celebrating Shark Week. While there, Reid tried to pass along shark knowledge such as how certain sharks mate, but she missed the mark and left viewers scratching their heads.

She stated that she didn’t want to look stupid on television so she’d enlisted the help of the Internet prior to the show (clearly knowledge about sharks wouldn’t have done her any good while filming a movie about them) and was surprised by what she found. To sum it up, whale sharks must be the result of a whale and a shark getting it on. Or at least that was her initial thought process.

She conveniently didn’t answer Ian’s question about whether or not she’d ever seen a tiger shark.
