Texas Rangers Kick Off a Series Tonight Versus the Baltimore Orioles

I am so excited for tonight, my hometown team the Baltimore Orioles are coming to Texas to battle the Rangers. If the season ended today the Orioles would be in the playoffs. So this series in Texas could be a potential playoff preview.The Texas Rangers have a five game lead on the Athletics for the American League West and no one is really expecting them to not lose that division lead. The Orioles right now have the second wild card spot hoping to come into Texas to gain more of a lead on the teams trailing them. The Rangers and Orioles come into this series both winning two straight games.

The Orioles will be using right handed pitcher Miguel Gonzalez tonight while the Rangers are using right handed pitcher Ryan Dempster. This should be an exciting game tonight with a lot on the line. The game can be viewed on Fox Sports Southwest. First pitch is at 7:05.
