A three-car accident in Wichita Falls sent one man to the hospital late Monday afternoon. The accident occurred at the intersection of Old Iowa Park Road and North Beverly Drive.

A male driver in a 2006 Cadillac was eastbound on Old Iowa Park Road. Another male driver in a black 2010 Ford Escape was westbound on Old Iowa Park Road when he turned left into the path of the oncoming Cadillac.

The Escape flipped and became airborne and as it came down clipped the front driver’s side windshield of Volkswagen Beetle that was northbound on North Beverly. The driver of the Escape was transported to United Regional with non-life threatening injuries. The drivers of the Cadillac and Beetle suffered only minor injuries.

North/south traffic along North Beverly was shut down for a time due to the accident.  No other injuries were reported.
