Two Arrested for Burglary of a Habitation

Wichita Falls Police were called to the 1800 block of Huff at around 5 am Monday.  Witnesses told officers two males, one dressed in a Bengals jersey, the other wearing a blue and white t-shirt, pulled up to a home on Huff in a green Chevrolet truck.

The witnesses told officers that the men began searching around the home with flashlights.  They then saw the men jump over a fence and then heard the sound of glass breaking.   Officers checked the residence and found a broken window and a flashlight on the floor just inside the home.

Officers continued to search the area and located the two men.  39 year-old Christopher Cavinder of Wichita Falls and 34 year-old Justin Carpenter of Burkburnett were arrested and charged with Burglary of a Habitation.  Both men were in the Wichita County Jail as of Monday night.
