What Local Fairs Are Coming Up in Whichita Falls in April?

I don't know what it is about local fairs, but my kids love them! Every year my husband has a DJ booth at the KFDX Bridal Fair and my kids can't wait to help him out and of course, look around and see what free goodies they can walk away with. Listed below are two upcoming events in April that I know my kids and I will be attending. One event is free and other only costs $2, so what are you waiting for? Put them on your calender and bring your families as well.

Where: 1700 3rd Street
FREE ADMISSION
Celebrate National Public Health Week with the whole family at this event with fun activities and education including a Bike Rodeo sponsored by the Traffic Safety Commission.
There will also be: Blood Pressure/Glucose Checks, Cholesterol Screening, Immunizations, HIV testing, Body Fat Testing, Animal/Pet Safety Education, WIC Education and more.

Celebrate Earth Day at River Bend Nature Center

When: Saturday April 21 9:00 AM- 4:00 PM
Where: River Bend Nature Center 2200 3rd Steet
$2 per Person, (2 and under free)
For the Adults: Vendors and informational booths providing education and awareness of sustainable living options and services here in Wichita Falls. We are talking about locally/regionally produced goods; earth friendly, organic and natural products; re-usable and recycled products; outdoor and recreational supplies and services; engery efficiency and more!
For The Kids: food, free nature trail tours, science exhibits, crafts, games, speakers and live entertainment. Also an opportunity to explore the beautiful 20-acre nature center.
