Whitney Houston continues to inspire people long after her untimely death on her new single, 'Never Give Up.' The uplifting tune, produced by Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox, will appear on the greatest-hits collection, 'I Will Always Love You: The Best of Whitney Houston.'

The song features the late pop icon's inspiring lyrics of perseverance and faith. In the first verse, Whitney details a single mother who is working two jobs and feeling out of place. The veteran songbird understands the mother's plight and encourages her to press on and not lose hope -- eventually, things will get better.

"Never never give up / No matter how many times somebody tells you it ain’t working,” Whitney sings on the chorus, adding, "Never never give up / Even though some days you have to cry / Shake it off / And know that every thing will be alright / As long as you never give up."

In the second verse, Whitney tells a story of a female college student who strips at a club to pay her tuition. While other people may frown at her occupation, Nippy understands and encourages her to stay focused so she can make it in a man's world.

'Never Give Up' is one of the new songs featured on Whitney's upcoming greatest-hits album. The collection boasts original versions of the Grammy-winning singer's chart-topping hits including 'I Will Always Love You,’ ‘Saving All My Love for You,’ ‘I Wanna Dance with Somebody’ and a remix of the R. Kelly duet ballad ‘I Look to You.’

‘I Will Always Love You: The Best of Whitney Houston’ will arrive in stores on Nov. 13.
