Wichita Falls Alert – Watch Out For Black Dodge Charger Posing As A Police Car

Reports are sketchy at this time, but all Texoma area drivers need to take note of this story.  There have been several confirmed reports this week regarding one, or possibly two late-model Dodge Chargers, apparently equipped with LED lights on their grille posing as police cruisers and pulling cars over.  It is confirmed that this has happened at least twice as one male driver was pulled over on Hwy 367, with a female driver pulled over on a county road.

Wichita Falls Police  have not said what the motive of the imposters is, however, an officer, speaking anonymously told Townsquare Media that the incidents are happening, and that drivers should be suspicious of any unmarked car posing as a police cruiser.  The officer also stated that should you be concerned about being pulled over, the best plan of action is to call 911, report your concern and then tell the operator exactly where you are being pulled over.  The operator should then be able to check and see if the stop is legit.
