Wichita Falls Police Arrest Woman After Early Morning Disturbance
At around 12:30 this morning, Wichita Falls Police responded to a call regarding possible shots fired in the 4800 block of Brookdale.
According to WFPD, the victim was with her boyfriend inside her apartment when she heard glass breaking. After she went to investigate, she saw 28-year-old Lonisha Jones standing outside her apartment yelling at the victim to come out so she could assault her.
After the victim’s boyfriend went out to confront Jones, she continued making threats toward the victim and made several attempts to climb through the broken window and attack her.
She eventually left the scene, but threatened to return and shoot up the apartment.
Jones was located by officers at Mistletoe Drive and Dennis Boulevard. She was arrested and transported to the Wichita County Jail where she was charged with burglary of a habitation.
