Looks like an old Wichita Falls police chase is going viral on YouTube. I have never seen this clip before, but it's clearly old. Sounds like something Spike TV would have on back in the day. Apparently this was on the show "Disorderly Conduct".

Looks like the suspect started driving on the wrong way of Highway 277 heading to Wichita Falls. Obviously, this could have turned deadly real quick for someone coming down that highway. According to the dash cam recording, this happened right around 6:30 in the morning. The YouTube video says this is from September 5th, 2005.

The suspect then attempts to ram the officer off the road. The officer and the suspect were able to maintain control of their vehicles during this and then the Texoma officers tried to use the highway to their advantage.

Those ditches on the side of Highway 277 are great for collecting rainwater and also launching your vehicle. Officers tried to get the suspect in the ditch, but he launched right over them like the Dukes of Hazard on the run from the sheriff. This would lead to some clear damage to the vehicle causing it to visibly smoke.

One of the officers finally hit the suspect right where he needed to causing them to completely do a 180 on Highway 277. Thankfully the suspect was smart enough not to run on foot once his vehicle was done for. According to the video, the suspect got ten years for this little stunt. If you know of any other cool Wichita Falls police chases let me know.
