Wichita Falls Police Investigate Child’s Death
Wichita Falls Police responded to an emergency call involving a child at the Camelot Apartments at 2202 Harrison on Wednesday. When officers and EMT’s arrived they found what they have described to us only as “an unresponsive child”.
The child was taken to United Regional Emergency, and then airlifted to Cook’s Fort Worth Children’s Hospital for further treatment. The child died at around 7:35 pm last night. The body has been sent to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner for autopsy.
According to press release from Wichita Falls Public Information Officer Brandie Banda the case is under investigation by the Crimes Against Children Unit. The name of the child has not been released. Additional information concerning the child’s death will be released later.
