The Wichita Falls Wildcats hockey team finished their most successful regular season in franchise history last Saturday and will enter the North American Hockey League (NAHL) playoffs starting this Thursday.

The 'Cats finished the 2014-15 regular season with a 39-16-5 record. The chase for the championship, known as the Robertson Cup in the NAHL, will begin with a best-of-three series against the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees on Thursday here in Wichita Falls. The Wildcats play their best hockey at home in the Kay Yeager coliseum posting a 23-6-1 record on the home ice.

The puck will drop at the KYC at 7:05 pm on both Thursday, April 2, and on Friday, April 3. If necessary, the third and final game will be held at the State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas, on Monday, April 6.
