Willie Nelson’s Hilarious Stoned Audition for ‘The Hobbit 2’ [VIDEO]

Willie Nelson has a message for Peter Jackson – to dump Ian McKellen as Gandalf and hire him for The Hobbit 2. This comes in a spoof video done for Conan, as he smokes up and runs lines for the film, getting paranoid and talking about the “giant flaming eye” freaking him out and “white smoke” being seen, declaring a new wizard.

Nelson acknowledges that McKellen is a good actor, saying he’s “a good actor, but, hell, I’m Willie Nelson!” Indeed his presence on the big screen would be a draw to some simply to see how he did in the role, but I’m betting Peter Jackson won’t be calling any time soon.

What do you think? Would Nelson be more entertaining in the role than McKellen?
