A mom ordered her daughter something for her birthday, but what came in the box was not her birthday present.

So Maryangela Tobin came home from work with her daughter and saw a FedEx package at the door. She was expecting her daughters birthday present, but when she opened it she found something else. She found candles, pixie sticks and peppermint. There was also something she thought was potpourri, but it was marijuana.

About an hour later two guys showed up at her door looking for the package. These guys were not FedEx employees. Maryangela Tobin of Plymouth said in the suit filed Feb. 12 that by disclosing her address, the company violated state privacy laws and put herself and her children in danger.

"I feel like the safety of my daughters and myself was invaded and it makes things complicated," she told WBZ-TV. "I walk into my house first every time, my kids don't." I hope she wins this case. I know when I was a kid I would always open the packages at the door.
