In Denmark, Cryos has made a name for itself as the world's largest sperm bank, accommodating over 65 countries.  Normally, sperm banks will take almost all healthy donations, but a recent surge in donations over the past few years has caused Cryos to be a little more picky about its donors.

Ole Schou, Cryos' director, told the danish newspaper Ekstrabladet,

"There are too many redheads in relation to demand.  I do not think you chose a redhead, unless the partner - for example, the sterile male - has red hair, or because the lone woman has a preference for redheads. And that's perhaps not so many, especially in the latter case."

Currently, Cryos has reached its limit of Ginger donations, with over 600 donors on a waiting list.  Schou said that redhead donations are most popular in Ireland, where they sell "like hot cakes,"  with donations from brown-eyed, brown-hair donors being the most popular in Spain, Italy and Greece.  The one type of donations Cryos is most in need of is Indian, as India will not allow eggs and sperm to be exported from the country, leading to problems with infertile international Indian couples.
