Texas Rangers over the off season spent almost 111 million dollars on the right hander from Japan. Unfortunately the big bucks they spent did not translate into a good outing for the pitchers first major league game. In the first inning Darvish let 4 runs score in the inning making many fans feel if it was worth the big money they spent on the acquisition. Darvish even had the bases loaded in the first and walked in a run in the first inning bringing boos upon Darvish mere minutes into his first start.

If the Yankees are an example of what you want to be doing with your franchise just remember big bucks don't always translate into wins. Sometimes these players can not hold onto the pressure of playing in the big leagues and you need to weary of giving them a ridiculous amount of money without first proving themselves.

Luckily for Darvish the Rangers offense had a tremendous night scoring 11 runs on 12 hits. Darvish got helped out in this game by the offense but they made need to be depending on him in the future if they are having a bad game.

The Rangers final score was 11 to 5 over there rival Seattle Mariners.
