Darci Lynne Farmer isn't your average 12-year old Oklahoma City girl. You Darci has a unique talent ~~~ She's a vetriliquist, and a VERY good one at that!! What she also is the the champion of America's Got Talent, as she was crowned the winner of the talent show's twelfth season last night on NBC.

With the help of her good friends Oscar and Petunia, Farmer out-dueled another young competitor, 10-year old singer Angelica Hale, by capturing the audience vote. Besides those two friends, Farmer also got a helping hand from her idol, fellow ventriloquist Terry Fator, who was the winner of the program's second season. Fater not only coached the youngster during her run on the program, but also performed with her during the show's finale.

Farmer was a front-runner on season 12 from the moment she auditioned, a performance that stunned the panel, and was quite reminiscent of season 2 of American Idol, in which Simon Cowell was stunned by another young singer from Oklahoma, Carrie Underwood, proclaiming her that show's front runner. The most amazing part of Darci Lynn's auditioned was when she admitted to judge Howie Mandell that she had gotten Petunia when she was 10 years old, and only started ventriloquism two years ago. Panelist Mel B sent the young Oklahoman strait through to the live shows.
