18-Year-Old Blames Not Seeing “Breaking Dawn” For DUI

This past Saturday morning, a Kendall County Sheriff's Deputy found 18-year-old Olivia Ornelas' car in a ditch off of Route 71.  When checking out the vehicle, the deputy found Ornelas still behind and drunk as a skunk.  No only that, the vehicle was missing the front right tire.

Ornelas felt that she had a valid reason for drinking and driving, and driving a car with only three wheels... she was upset that she missed "Breaking Dawn pt 1".  According to the police report,

“Ornelas advised that she was extremely upset with her boyfriend because she did not see the movie Twilight like they were suppose to.”

The scary part is that I'm sure there are people who would side with her and think that's a valid reason.  Fortunately, the cops didn't think the reason was valid and Ornelas was taken into custody and charged with DUI and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.  She was released later that day after posting a $300 bond.
