Ariana Grande Seemingly Addresses Sexual Harassment Allegations Brought Against Photographer Marcus Hyde
Ariana Grande seems to address the sexual harassment allegations against photographer Marcus Hyde, who she previously worked with, in a new Instagram story.
Grande appeared to address the allegations without directly naming Hyde, posting an Instagram story giving advice to models. "I have just read some shocking and really heartbreaking stories. I hate that this is a conversation," Grande shared.
"Please do not shoot with photographers who make you uncomfortable or make you feel like you need to take your clothing off if you don’t want to," she wrote.
“If you want to, sick. But if you don’t, please don’t," she continued. "If they tell you you have to pay more money if you’re clothed that’s f---ed and I’m sorry that has happened to you. I promise there are so many respectful, nice, talented photographers out there.”
Grande then tagged some photographers that she's previously worked with. She also urged fans to look out for one another and to connect others with photographers people have had positive experiences with.
After Hyde posted on his Instagram looking for models interested in setting up a photo shoot, model Sunnaya Nash reached out to him via Instagram direct messages. Hyde allegedly asked her to send nude images of herself in exchange for a free nude photo shoot. When asked if she could do a partial nude shoot, he reportedly said that it would cost her $2,000.
After she shared screenshots of their conversation on her Instagram stories, Hyde reportedly told Nash to "suck a big fat d---."
Since the first allegation, many other models have come forward with reports that Hyde also harassed them in a number of different ways.
After the allegations surfaced, Hyde made his Instagram private and took down his profile image. He also deleted his Twitter account completely.
Kim Kardashian-West and Bella Thorne have also seemingly spoken out about the Hyde allegations.
