Baby Gorilla Takes a Bath in Unearthed Vintage News Clip [VIDEO]

In this news segment from 1967, a baby gorilla named Joe takes a bath in England’s Twycross Zoo.

According to the zoo’s director, Joe was the world’s only bathing gorilla. But when you see Joe splash around in ecstasy you realize that’s just because the other gorillas haven’t been exposed to the glory of the tub.

As adorable as Joe is, he also has a ruthless side, and steadfastly refuses to allow a young chimp to join him in the bath, despite there being plenty of room for both apes. Watch below.
