Clay County Wildfire Threatens Homes

A wildfire broke out just after noon today along FM 1954 near Wigwam. Crews from the Texas Forest Service are on the scene along with the Scotland VFD, Lake Arrowhead VFD, Arrowhead Ranch Estates VFD and the Jolly VFD.  Officials tell us that several homes are in the fires path.  KAUZ News Channel 6 had reported that a portion of FM 1954 was closed for a time.
