Hey Marvel fans have you heard the big news? ABC has picked up a new show, Agents of SHIELD, the organization that brought the Avengers together. And there is a brand new trailer that they just released for the show and it looks as good as any of the movies did.

The promo features Clark Gregg reprising his role as Agent Phil Coulson, who appeared in Iron Man 1 & 2, Thor and The Avengers, and now he is forming a team of agents to take on the cases that SHIELD has yet to classify, the new strange and the unknown. The series is being written and directed by Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and will feature Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, an expert in combat and espionage; Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, pilot and martial artist; Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, a brilliant if socially awkward scientist; and Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons.

ABC has told us on their website, "Prepare for an epic adventure that showcases the hope and wonder of the human spirit. This is a world of Super Heroes, aliens and the unusual—of action, spectacle and world spanning stories. The show will speak to the human condition through the lens of our very human, non-powered S.H.I.E.L.D agents—that together we are greater than we are apart, and that we can make a difference in the world."

Are you excited? Me to. There is no official release date yet but the preview does say coming soon, so keep those fingers crossed.
