
Check Out Rathgeber Hospitality House on Texoma Gives Day
This organization helps folks in Wichita Falls with affordable lodging while their loved ones are receiving medical care.
Scott with Rathgeber Hospitality House stopped by the studio this week to discuss the upcoming Texoma Gives Day. Since 2016, Texoma Gives has helped spread the word on helping out non-profits. It's coming up on September 6th and this year I am asking that you consider this amazing organization in Wichita Falls.
Interview with Rathgeber Hospitality House
Rathgeber Hospitality House is located right across the street from United Regional. If you have a loved one that is being treated there. You can stay at the Rathgeber Hospitality House. They have 26 different rooms for people to stay at and they ask for a small donation for you to have a room. People give around $40, which is much cheaper than a hotel stay somewhere else in town. Also, if your loved one is getting medical care somewhere else in town, you can still use Rathgeber Hospitality House, they don't just serve families at United Regional.
Why Does Rathgeber Hospitality House Do This Service?
About 40% of the people who use our local medical services are not immidiatly in the Wichita Falls area. Several studies have proven, people heal faster when family and friends are nearby. Rathgeber Hospitality House gives these people a place to stay nearby so they can be near their loved one.
