Halloween is almost upon us and that means the next couple of weekends will be filled with parties for the kids and the grownups. Here's one that sounds like a lot of fun and will also benefit a great cause, P.E.T.S.

The Howl-O-Growl Fur-Raiser is set for this Saturday evening from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. at the Kay Yeager Coliseum. According to their Facebook event page there will be a costume contest, DJ Marcus spinning some ghostly dance tunes, cocktails, beer and hors d'oeuvres, cornhole games and even an adult bounce house. Seriously, what more could you ask for in a Halloween party?

Oh, yeah, it's P.E.T.S' final fundraiser for their new clinic building so while you're having a great time you'll also know that you're helping to prevent overpopulation of cats and dogs in the Wichita Falls area.

Tickets are $35 per person, or you can spring for the $55 wristband and get a free entry into the costume contest and unlimited game play.
