Will Texans Listen To Amazon Delivery Woman’s Complaints?
I don't things are going to turn out well here.
It's All Love!
I love my delivery drivers. Not only am I hooked up with the U.S. Postal Service, but also Amazon, U.P.S., FedEx, and even some trucking items that bring larger items to my house. I have NEVER had one not committing to the delivery or even helping me with a delivery for larger items (I get stuff on pallets sometimes).
Here's The Complaint
An Amazon worker was asked what she didn't like to deliver and the answers were kitty litter, dog food, and bottled water. We'll let that sink in for a bit. Yes, the common thread is that all of those items are heavy. I'm guessing your Amazon driver is mean-mugging that Chewy box every time they see it.
We're Not Going To Listen
Again, I love my drivers, so please don't lose my packages, but we are paying for delivery. We are handing over money for someone to lift these items from point A to point B for us, it's in the job description. As I mentioned before, "Chewy" is a thing, so that means a lot of people choose to get those heavy pet supplies. I also have to have very special dog food for animals with diabetes that has to come from a vet supply warehouse.
I'm Very Sorry
Past the point of this, I am never, not ever, going to think, "Is this too heavy for my delivery driver?". It's just not going to happen. "Delivery" is what delivery companies sell, and they better be ready to provide that service one way or another. It's my hope that the drivers get some kind of tool or dolly to help them with these heavy deliveries because we're never going to stop ordering heavy stuff.
