The video at the bottom of this article shows one of the craziest attempts at escaping the police you might ever see, and I'm here for it!

Hot Pursuit

It opens on a busy street in Houston, Texas. We see a police SUV heading the wrong way down a one-way street, while a man hides behind a work van for a plumbing company.

The Daring Escape

As the van pulls away, the cop hits his sirens and busts a U-turn in order to follow the suspect. As the van drives by the camera, we can see the man has jumped up on the back bumper and is using it as a means to escape. Brilliant.

Run Forrest, Run!

After about fifty yards, the van slows down to stop, as he probably believes he's being pulled over by the cop car. Once the van gets down to a slower speed, the man jumps off and takes off running for his life. The cop jumps out of his SUV as well and runs after the man on foot. It doesn't look like he gains much ground on the suspect as the video ends.
