Wichita Falls Family Hosting Fundraisers to Send Child to Spain for Soccer Camp

Looks like a Wichita Falls soccer star has been selected for a camp with Atlético De Madrid in Spain. The family will be doing a lot around town to help raise funds for the trip and here's how you can help.

Atlético De Madrid hosts soccer camps all across the country for kids ages 6-18. Here in Texas they had camps in Dallas, El Paso, and Houston. Atlético de Madrid coaches evaluate players to select them to have the chance to participate in an extraordinary one-week experience in Madrid. Looks like a Wichita Falls kid got the announcement this weekend they have been selected for the Madrid camp.

Aurora Perez Qualified for Spain Soccer Camp This Spring

Ten-year-old Aurora Perez found out over the weekend she has been invited to the Spain camp in 2027. Obviously this is a big trip and a once in a lifetime opportunity. Aurora's family will be doing a lot of fundraisers the next few months to help pay for the trip, so keep an eye out on Facebook to see what you can do to help.
