Move along, nothing to see here. Just a car parked in a creek.

Seriously though – what in the world is going on in the video below? I don’t know about you, but my mind immediately goes to foul play.

Sure, the car could have ended up there due to Google Maps taking the driver on the fastest route to their destination without recognizing there’s a creek in the way. It happens.

There’s also a chance the driver didn’t adhere to the adage “Turn around, don’t drown” during a flood and the car wound up getting swept away by the current. We have had a lot of rain in North Texas lately, so that’s a possibility.

But years of watching horror flicks (not to mention, the news) has conditioned me to think the worst when I see something out of place. And a car in a creek is out of place.

Of course, my curiosity got the best of me, so I tried a couple of online searches, but to no avail. However, it seems that White Rock Creek has claimed several lives in the past. Hopefully, that’s not the case this time around.
