The Salvation Army Has Opened Up a Cooling Station in Wichita Falls
For anyone in Wichita Falls that has no way to escape the heat. You can visit the Salvation Army cooling station at 403 7th Street. They have a air conditioning, free water, and entertainment to pass the time as you cool off. “This heat can be brutal and there’s not really a lot of places for them to just get out of the sun and to get out of the heat so we just want to give them another place where they can come and relax and try to beat the heat,” Salvation Army Major Roman Leal said to KAUZ.
Cooling Station Open Monday Through Friday
