Dallas Stars Dominated by Finnish Players
A funny joke amongst Stars fans is if you're good at hockey and from Finland. You will fit into this franchise. The four representatives for Team Finland on the Stars have become known as 'The Finnish Mafia'. The Stars actually traveled to Finland in 2024 to play in the Global Series against the Panthers. Sadly, the Stars lost both games while they were there.
Jason Robertson Snubbed from the Olympics AGAIN
I'm starting to think whoever makes the Olympic rosters for America just hates Jason Robertson at this point. What the hell do you want him to do?! For American born players in the NHL this season he's eighth in scoring, FIRST in points, and second in power play goals. You have fourteen other forwards ranked better than him that were born in America?
When Do the Winter Olympics Start?
The Winter Olympics take place from February 4-22. The first ice hockey game will take place on February 5th. The NHL will be off starting February 5th and will not return until February 25th. I know it's a huge honor to represent your country in these games, but also the players can get a nice rest during that almost three week period if they're not going.

The Dallas Stars are currently the second best team in the NHL points wise, however their division rival Colorado Avalanche have been running away with the one seed. They currently have a ten point lead on the Stars. Should be another exciting postseason if those two meet up again.
