Help Wichita Falls, Texas High Schools Get a Upgraded Football Field!
We got two new high schools in Wichita Falls this year, why not get a upgraded football field to go along with it?
High Schools Have a Chance to Get Upgraded Football Field from T-Mobile
T-Mobile is looking to upgrade a high school football field somewhere in America. Since Texas does high school football a little different than everybody else, I figured why not give our local field some love.
Memorial Stadium Could Get an Upgrade
Our stadium has been open in Wichita Falls since 1970, it did have some work done after the 1979 tornado hit. However, many would not turn down some upgraded features if they were to come in. Here is what our local high schools have a chance to win.
Grand Prize Winner
- Upgraded weight room from GronkFitness.com
- New teched-out scoreboard
- Consultation with football field experience experts to get pro tips to elevate the game
- 5G network upgrades package to unlock player potential and performance
- Epic tailgate party celebration with live music and 5G-powered halftime drone show
16 High Schools Win Secondary Prizes
- $25,000 Grant to Put Towards Upgrades of School's Choosing
- A T-Mobile powered half time show
50 High Schools Win Grants as Well
- Finally fifty schools will be chosen to win $5,000 grants for upgrades of their choosing.
How Do you Register?
You will need to register your school at the Friday Night 5G Lights website. They say, "Each week we’ll be shining a light on a different hometown high school across the country participating in Friday Night 5G Lights. Feel the school spirit, show them some love, and share your school's story for the chance to be spotlighted!"
When sharing posts about high school football this year, use the hashtag #fridaynight5glights to get some more attention for your favorite team. Hopefully someone at T-Mobile shows Wichita Falls some love so we can get some upgrades to Memorial Stadium.
