Oklahoma joins Texas with Pornhub blocking access to their site over new laws going into effect this morning.

Senate Bill 1959 Goes Into Effect in Oklahoma Today

Senate Bill 1959 basically states that it's "prohibiting commercial entities from distributing adult material without age verification." Essentially you would need to verify that you're at least eighteen years old before accessing adult material, not something as simple as entering a birthday. You would need an account with the site with your real name and drivers license number to prove you're at least 18.

Pornhub Blocking Access for All of Oklahoma

Pornhub is doing exactly what it did in Texas not too along ago. Instead of putting an age verification on their site, they have simply blocked access to anyone living in the state of Oklahoma. If you attempt to access Pornhub normally in Oklahoma. You will be greeted by the message above.

States Where Pornhub is Banned

As you can see in the map above, Oklahoma is orange. That means the laws were pending at the time it was posted in September. Oklahoma can now be turned to red if this were to be updated. You also see Arizona in orange, it looks like they have vetoed that bill and it will not be going through right now. Alaska is also in orange, but the state has not announced an official start date for the verification law. It's safe to assume once it goes into effect, Pornhub will do the exact same thing to Alaska.
